Spencer Gulf Searoad has announced that its ferry service will be out of service from Saturday 2nd July 2022 for annual repairs and maintenance.
Aurora V will make her way to Port Adelaide for slipping Sunday 3rd of July, returning to Wallaroo, Thursday 14th July 2022. Services are to recommence services Friday 15th July 2022.
‘We would like to thank our customers for their patience during the temporary suspension to our service. The outcome of the repairs and maintenance will ensure that we continue to provide an efficient ongoing service, without further interruptions in the future.’ Sue Cassidy, General Manager said.
Both offices at Wallaroo and Lucky Bay will be open during this time to assist with any questions or reservations. Online bookings can still be made during this time for future dates.
Spencer Gulf Searoad has revolutionised travel between the Yorke and Eyre Peninsula, providing a relaxing cruise across the gulf, which takes approximately 2 and a half hours, compared with the alternative 400km drive one way.
On board features include an air-conditioned accommodation area, television screens, cafe, WIFI and an outdoor observation deck.
