Spencer Gulf Searoad has announced that it’s Spencer Gulf Ferry service will be temporarily out of service from Monday, 3rd July 2023 through to and including Sunday, 16th July 2023.
Aurora V will have her repair’s and maintenance completed in Wallaroo and will not be leaving dock. Services will recommence Monday, 17th July 2023.
‘We would like to thank our customers for their patience during our temporary suspension to our service. The outcome of the repairs and maintenance will ensure that we continue to provide an efficient ongoing service, without further interruptions in the future’. Manager, Sue Cassidy said. ‘
‘Both offices at Wallaroo and Lucky Bay will be open during this time to assist with any questions or reservations. Online bookings for dates after the closure can also be made’.
Spencer Gulf Searoad has revolutionised travel between the Yorke and Eyre Peninsula, providing a relaxing cruise across the gulf, which takes approximately 2 and a half hours compared to the alternate 400km drive one way. On board features include an air-conditioned lounge area, television screens, cafe, WIFI and outdoor observation deck.
